Description

This creamy, tangy Tram Sauce recipe comes together in minutes using everyday ingredients. Perfect for fish, baked potatoes, sandwiches, or as a bold dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale

½ cup mayonnaise

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 garlic clove, minced

½ tsp hot sauce (optional)

Salt to taste

¼ tsp black pepper

Optional: ¼ tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp chopped pickles or capers, ¼ cup Greek yogurt, chopped parsley or chives

Instructions

1. Gather all ingredients and finely mince the garlic.

2. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice to a bowl.

3. Whisk until smooth and fully combined.

4. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and optional hot sauce or paprika.

5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

6. Fold in optional herbs, yogurt, or pickles if using.

7. Transfer to container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

To make it vegan, use plant-based mayo and vegan Worcestershire sauce.

Chilling the sauce allows flavors to meld and deepen.

Great for making up to 2 days ahead.
