A refreshing morning ritual combining pink Himalayan salt, lemon, and warm water to support hydration, digestion, and energy.
Ingredients
- ¼ tsp Himalayan pink salt (fine-ground)
- 8 oz warm filtered water (120°F / 49°C)
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (about ½ lemon)
- Optional: ½ tsp raw honey
- Optional: Small pinch cayenne pepper
Instructions
1. Pour warm filtered water into a heat-safe mug.
2. Add pink salt and stir until fully dissolved.
3. Mix in lemon juice and stir again.
4. Add optional honey and cayenne, whisk briskly.
5. Sip slowly over 2–3 minutes. Wait 15 mins before eating or drinking coffee.
Notes
Swap lemon for lime for a tropical twist.
Steep 2 ginger slices for 5 minutes, then discard for digestion.
Add ½ tsp apple cider vinegar for gut support.
Chill, muddle mint, and serve over ice for summer.
