Description
A calming pink salt water trick recipe to start your day. Supports digestion, hydration, and energy with just three ingredients.
Ingredients
1/4 tsp Himalayan pink salt (fine-ground)
8 oz warm filtered water (~120°F / 49°C)
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (about ½ lemon)
Optional: 1/2 tsp raw honey
Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper
Instructions
- 1. Add the pink salt to a heat-safe mug.
- 2. Pour in warm filtered water and stir until salt dissolves.
- 3. Mix in lemon juice and stir again.
- 4. Add optional honey and cayenne; whisk briskly.
- 5. Sip slowly over 2–3 minutes before eating.
Notes
Drink first thing in the morning, before food or coffee.
Avoid if on a sodium-restricted diet or managing kidney issues.
Customize with ginger or apple cider vinegar for variation.
