Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves (or 1 tbsp dried)
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)
- 2 cups filtered water
- Juice of ½ lemon (about 1 teaspoon)
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Instructions
1. Heat the water until boiling, then set aside for a moment.
2. Place lemon balm and ginger into a teapot or infuser.
3. Pour the hot water over the mixture and cover.
4. Let it rest for 8 minutes to allow flavors to infuse.
5. Strain into a mug.
6. Add lemon juice and honey if desired. Serve immediately.
