Description

Learn how to cook Costco stuffed peppers to make them taste even better than store-bought. Use your oven or air fryer for easy, delicious results with extra cheese and sauce.

Ingredients

  • Costco Stuffed Peppers
  • Tomato Sauce – Adds moisture and deeper flavor; use Rao’s or your favorite marinara.
  • Shredded Cheese – Mozzarella, cheddar, or a mix for a gooey finish.
  • Italian Seasoning – Optional, but enhances aroma and taste.
  • Red Pepper Flakes – Optional for a spicy kick.

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Remove packaging and place the peppers in an oven-safe dish.

2. Pour tomato sauce over and around the peppers to keep them moist and flavorful.

3. Cover with foil and bake for 35–40 minutes if thawed, or 50–60 minutes if frozen.

4. Uncover and top with shredded cheese during the last 10 minutes to melt and brown.

5. Check the internal temperature (should be at least 165°F) before serving.

6. To use an air fryer, preheat to 350°F and cook thawed peppers for 18–22 minutes, or frozen ones for 25–30 minutes.

7. Add cheese and seasonings in the last 5 minutes of air frying. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Pro Tip: Add a layer of tomato sauce under the peppers to prevent burning and keep the bottoms tender.

Variation: Use ramekins in your air fryer to catch melty cheese or sauce overflow.
