1 tablespoon fresh ginger, sliced
½ tablespoon fresh turmeric
1 cinnamon stick
¼ cup pineapple core chunks
1 cup filtered water
1 lemon-verbena tea bag
Optional: 1 teaspoon raw apple-cider vinegar, 1 lemon slice, Honey
1. Add ginger, turmeric, cinnamon stick, mint, pineapple core, and water to a small saucepan.
2. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat. Allow it to bubble softly for 5 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and add the lemon-verbena tea bag. Cover and steep for 10 minutes.
4. Strain into a mug.
5. Stir in apple-cider vinegar and sweeten lightly with honey.
